About the event
Neeganii Iishawin, meaning “to lead to the Gathering place,” is a regional event that brings together First Nations, Tribal Councils, industry partners, businesses, and government to advance Indigenous economic development. Representing 34 communities across five Tribal Councils, the Gathering creates space for dialogue, learning, and collaboration on shared economic priorities.
Proudly hosted in partnership with Windigo Community Development Corporation, Matawa First Nations, Keewaytinook Okimakanak, Shibogama First Nations Council, TKG Group, and the Independent First Nations Alliance, this highly anticipated Gathering brings together leaders to focus on economic development, reconciliation, and the shared prosperity of northern Ontario.
