The Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA) is pleased to announce that the Lac Seul First Nation Fire Department is receiving a surplus fire truck from the Hamilton Fire Department.

When resources are limited, we are stronger when we stand together. That is the heart of a new Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) between the Municipality of Sioux Lookout and the Independent First Nations Alliance (“IFNA”). This MoU outlines how the two organizations can work collaboratively for the advancement and betterment of each, when it comes to fire-related activities and reduction of fire-related harm and deaths in our communities.

IFNA Integrated Emergency Services is offering training to those interested in careers in the Emergency Medical Response field, providing First Aid support, and/or those that would like to work with IFNA Integrated Emergency Services.
