Home Away Today

The inaugural issue of the Home Away Today newsletter has been released!

Together, the Home Away program staff and students have initiated a newsletter for parents, community leadership, and educators to share the ins and outs of their time in Sioux Lookout.

The newsletters will be created and sent to Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug and Muskrat Dam First Nation once per school quadmester. In the next issue, IFNA will involve the students in writing the articles and taking the pictures for the newsletter to give the students an opportunity to learn about photography and writing.

The students will work together and with the IFNA staff to make this newsletter truly their own, with the information they want to share with their parents and communities.
