Last year, the Pikangikum First Nation received a year-long $147,600 Resilient Communities Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) and since then, has been working to rebuild and recover from impacts of COVID-19 by hiring a Food Security Project Manager and Coordinator to align cross-organizational supports to facilitate access, delivery, and distribution of food donations.

IFNA is a rapidly growing Tribal Council and is looking for a professional, friendly and dedicated individuals to join our expanding Finance team. We offer opportunities for career growth, cross-training and professional development.

Student Home Workers support students from IFNA communities attending school in Sioux Lookout by providing house activities, meals, transportation, etc. You will have the opportunity to be a mentor to the students and help shape their essential life skills. This role is key in providing a home away from home for the youth.

This Golf Tournament supports Oshki-Wenjack, Confederation College and Lakehead University in assisting First Nation students by awarding bursaries to students following the golf tournament.

Our Health Services team understands the challenges of not always knowing what our children need from us, as parents. To help alleviate some of the frustration, the Health Services team is introducing Circle of Security, a 9-week program.
