IFNA Health Summit 2020

IFNA hosted the IFNA Health Summit

February 11-13, 2020 | Thunder Bay

On February 11 – 13, 2020, IFNA hosted the IFNA Health Summit in Thunder Bay at the Travelodge Airlane Hotel. Delegates working in health in each of IFNA’s five communities attended the event.

Delegates came from a wide range of health-related areas, including Leadership, Health Directors, Councillors with the Health Portfolio, ADI Nurses and Workers, Diabetes Staff, Elders, Youth, Choose Life Staff, Health Centre/Nursing Station Staff, CHRs, Suboxone Program Staff, and Staff from other sectors of the community.

Three days were spent covering topics related to physical and mental health from the perspective of the Past, Present, and Future of Indigenous health. Additionally, several IFNA Health partners were on-site throughout the event to showcase their organizations.
